Aviation Hazard / Incident

Incidents are events that have the potential to cause harm to people, property, or the environment and can reduce business efficiency. At Townsville Airport, we aim to minimize the occurrence of incidents and continuously improve by learning from them. Personnel are encouraged to report issues without fear of blame or retaliation, fostering an environment of transparency and continuous safety improvement.

While incidents are often unforeseen, Townsville Airport records them to foster valuable learnings. These incidents and their associated insights are then reported to both internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making and drive improvements in business processes.
